What is Tea & Tides Stories?
Tea & Tides Stories is an independent publishing company founded by Alison Major. We publish nonfiction titles focused on travel, remote work, family life, creative living, and the rhythms of life by the water.
Where does the name come from?
The name reflects the balance we strive for—quiet cups of tea, creative reflection, and the ever-changing tides of life. It’s a nod to coastal living and storytelling that flows with purpose.
Is Tea & Tides Stories a traditional publisher?
No—we’re a modern micro-publisher. That means we combine professional publishing standards with the flexibility of an independent press. Our titles are distributed online and in select bookstores.
